This seasonal, rustic cabin on Cox Cove overlooks Southern Harbor. Close to town and ferry. Several outbuildings, a garage, a boathouse, and a small pond can be found on the property. The site is on a small peninsula where tidal fluctuations offer plenty of bird life as well as kayaking and swimming around high tides. As well as a large screened-in porch facing the cove, an open deck sits on the edge of the shoreline; perfect for viewing tide changes and bird life. Legal tree trimming would allow 180 degrees of water views. The cabin, built in approximately 1961 with subsequent additions, is closer to the shore than current zoning allows but still could be renovated on the same spot. It is also possible to build slightly farther back. Renovations and shoring up of buildings are needed, but the site is spectacular.
